For those of you that are operating 2012/2013 registered MAN vehicles. I have held various meetings with MAN over the early EURO 5 engine issues that some of you have had issues with, namely the intercooling system failure and we have the following from the dealer
MAN as a manufacturer have recognised that early euro 5 engine’ vehicles have suffered various cooling system issues which has resulted in a comprehensive check process being developed. This process allows us to assess cooling system function and highlight any defective components and minimise unscheduled down time of vehicles.
I have got full support from MAN and all remedial repair will be covered. The comprehensive check process is a 6 monthly undertaking and again will be fully covered by MAN. Those affected have been sent and email requesting details of their vehicles.
