Why is it when a batcher ask for trucks for the next day on Skype he gets no reply, When we get to the next day no trucks or they are late and we can not supply another customer and yet again the ihc loses out with not enough work because we lose the customer to a supplier who can supply.
The planners will not answer the phone to ihc’s or batchers, the excuses from Cemex is lack of staff or trained staff but all the time we the ihc’s or not earning but still have to pay for the truck.Neil Brunsdon ihc Northfleet cluster 24

i look forward to hear cemex take on my point but all the time we talk about it still nothing gets done. we have spoken to the relavant managers to no avail, if i knew this when i took my lorry on i would have be having second thoughts. just seems like no one cares what happens to ihcs, i personally took a big risk to go self employed i have put a lot on the line. cemex needs to treat us with a bit more respect as we are on the front line of the business.-
